2 months

Sorry, blog it's been a very long time, ever since I got married I really didn't have a need to put all my thoughts into you, I had a best friend to talk to when-ever I wanted. The wedding was so much fun. I honestly wish it went slower because I don't remember much, that is why I am so glad Josh brought in his friends to take care of the videography. I am so blessed to have a guy as great as him. A few weeks after the wedding we took our honeymoon, and we couldn't have been luckier with that, especially picking the week of the cruise almost 6 months prior to leaving. We didn't know that a hurricane would hit the western Caribbean the week right before and the week right after and not our week. Once again so blessed!! The Caribbean was so beautiful and I got some amazing images which are posted on my photo website http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/gallery.asp?memberID=107465 that is always updated (usually once a month with tons of photos)

Anywho.... Yesterday was our 2 month marker of being married and Josh had the day off of work, how sweet, and I still had too.....Oh well, we have to have money somehow (which BTW I have a new job!!!) Josh cooked me dinner and we ate to vanilla candlelight and romantic songs being played in the background. Josh made me (warmed up) broccoli and cheese with potato soup (progresso) LOL. A small salad, a dish of pasta, and crab legs (my favorite) he looked up how to cook crab legs and the butter sauce and made it all just for me, 1 pound of crab!!!! I still can't believe that he actually made me that, I was honestly expecting steak or spaghetti, but not crab legs. I am very blessed. That's all for now, I promise I will be back, sometime.
Love to all,
Jules Paney

Long time no read

Hey Blog, sorry it's been awhile, not that anyone actually reads this, well maybe D.W. if he got really really bored, or maybe if he was curious what was going on in my life...Yeah right. Anywho... I'm out of school for the summer and fall. I actually don't have to start up again until Jan 2006. Woo Woo! Wedding plans are coming along great, like everyone says, it's not the day that really counts, it's all the planning that goes into the day that really counts. I honestly didn't think that there was so much planning that went into a wedding, and this is a small wedding! Yikes! I don't know what kind of pressure Andrea is going through right now, nor would I want it! (Sorry girl) Since, I only work 1 job at the moment (yeah amazing huh?) I find myself to have a lot of free time handy, so I lay around, play games, do nothing, watch t.v. and wait for time to pass me by. I honestly get bored at times. I need to get back into some photography, I want to set up my studio and try some new ideas I have for editing photos. But until then....

Savannah Here I come!!!

Hi all, just a quick note to let you all know that I officially got accepted to the Savannah College of Art and Design for Photography today at 4:30pm. I was so excited, a real college for photography that I worked hard on getting accepted at and I, Julie Cwik, got in! Woo Woo. I called everyone on my cell phone list to tell them, and to be honest only Josh and Hans were excited for me. Everyone else was like, good job (sounding as if they were bored) so that put me in a bad mood for the rest of the evening. After work, Josh and I came back to my house, and we took a nice walk over to Applebees to grab a salad and a few drinks, then walked back home. I really enjoy the night time walks we have. Though sometimes Josh talks way too much...LOL, it runs in his family. =)

Finals Week

Hey blogger, sorry for not updating you in a while...School has been extremely busy and my jobs have been asking for a lot more of my time and efforts. This week is finals week and of course I have several projects all due by Tuesday. Unfortunately, it can't be spread out over the time of a week; that would be ideal! Anywho... I got a lot of wedding plans completed the past few weeks. I got the bridesmaid dresses ordered and all the jewerly bought. All the major plans are completed and right now I'm working on the details. I created a little website thanks to www.theknot.com about our wedding. http://weddings.theknot.com/pwp/view/co_main.aspx?coupleid=3232654449821342. Sign the guest book while you are there! Well, until next time... my projects are calling my name.

Puppies!!!

Hello, Josh and I were talking about getting a dog when we move down to Georgia. Of course we would get it after we were moved in and settled for a bit. I just honestly don't remember a time that I was without a dog in my life and it will be hard trying to adjust my life to be living without one. The constant love and affection they give is amazing! There are so many adorable puppies out there and to pick the right one is so difficult. Josh & I agreed that we both really liked the first English bulldog puppy that was sold at my work "Our Family Pets" but after doing some research on the several different breeds of bulldogs we decided that the English bulldog though cute isn't what we wanted. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/bulldog.htm It seems that the English bulldogs have a lot of breathing problems (as their snouts are similar to the pugs) and they have several knee and hip problems.

I told Josh (which today is his birthday....Happy 22nd Birthday Josh!!!) that we have an Australian (Aussie) Bulldog at the store now and we both like that one. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/aussiebulldog.htm So, most likely we will end up getting that one from Phil and Shari.

Unfortunately bulldogs are a bit expensive, usually around $1000-$3000 because the mother gives birth to only a few puppies and most of the time they don't survive the birth because their heads are too big for birth, and sometimes that problem kills mom too. Most of the births have to be a C-section in order for mom and puppies to survive. But we do what we have to do.

Mixing of Holidays

Well, I just love the fact that on X-mas Eve, we all get together eat a big meal then open presents, then on Christmas day we open presents, then get together and eat a big meal, then we celebrated my b-day early (b/c it falls on the 27th and that's a Monday) on the 26th (today) and we went out to the boat to have the awesome buffet they have then came back to my house and opened more gifts. I have eaten so much that I think I'm good for the rest of the year! Anywho.... Some of the gifts I got was Rollercoaster Tycoon 3! Woo! Woo! Great game! Then I got gift certificates to my favorite store.....Kohls, got some cash, and I got 2 very cool gifts! I got an 4.5 hour day spa stress reliever package at a day spa in Glen Ellyn from Josh, massages, aromatherepy facials, manicures, pedicures, the works! I was so amazed! Then my parents gave me the title to the Tiburon! So as of now it's MY CAR!!!! WOO! WOO! So yeah... Tomorrow Josh is working until 5ish then we are going out to Olive Garden for dinner then to go see the Phantom of The Opera at the Theaters. I can't wait... and during the day Mom and I are going out shopping! hehehe. Until then...I'm out!

Christmas Shopping at Walmart

If you learn anything listening to my thoughts learn this...Never shop at Walmart the week of Christmas. It's a complete zoo in there, people grabbing this and taking that, cutting you off, and cursing. Yup, the season of giving is upon us!

Since the season is so full of giving let me give something back! I am giving people a piece of my mind. Each person needs to find out who they are and why they are acting the way that they are. Remember you are a person with a life, not a computer game, or a porno junkie, or a selfish person, you care and love. Then, if you don't FAKE IT, for crying out loud.

Onto other good news...Seriously this is great news! My mom and I found our D.J. my Uncle Jeff's life long friend John Udell. He is charging us $300 for the entire night. Woo woo! The thought that keeps creeping into my mind is that even though we are saving so much money is all these different areas, our wedding is still going to be so expensive!!!

I am very excited about our wedding, but at times I look at us and wonder, are we ready yet? Maybe we are too young, what if I'm wrong, what if we aren't accepted at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design), what if... What if... What if... The world of "What If's?" is a very scary place, I wouldn't recommend going there unless you have a round trip ticket.

I need to get to sleep, I have some dreams to catch up on....
Love to all,
Jules <><
