Ever want to smack someone so hard???

Today I went to work as I normally do to Rembrandt from 12 (noon) to 4pm. Allie was supposed to work at Alexian brothers taking baby pictures but was on vacation and no was able to cover the day because we all have lives and other jobs. I went in to be nice (immediately following my other job) and to make Sunday an easier day as well. Plus, if I went in on Saturday that's another day of base pay for me as well (good idea Josh!). So I go in and one nurse says..."Well, your only about 10 hours late." I told her that no one was supposed to be here, but I'm doing this out of the kindness of my heart and the desperation of money for school! (LOL) I have one mom come up to me (she was Italian...No offense people) and say, "You were suppose to be here this morning to take my baby's photo! I'm leaving in 2 hours and I need it done now!"

Her first mistake was to tell me what I HAD to do for her. Her 2nd mistake was to yell at me for "being late" on a day that I wasn't even suppose to be working on! So I give the mom the paperwork to fill out (takes 5 minutes if your stupid and can't read) and tell her that I will be back in 10 minutes to pick up the paperwork and then we can go and get started with the pictures. 10 min later I go in and she didn't fill it out yet, so I ask her to do it and tell her that I will be back in 5 min. Once again, when I come back it's not completed. So I come back 15 min later and finally it's filled out. She dressed her daughter in some clothes that were WAY too big for the baby to wear but whatever, it's what Mom wants. I am about to take the baby to the little studio when mom wants to know if she can come watch, I try to assure her that I will take the best picture possible and I will bring her back in 7 minutes (yes, I'm that good, got it down to the equate minute!) but no... not good enough for mom. So the whole family walks down with me and watches me take the pictures and of course it's the problem child where they stick out their toungue or just aren't photogenetic babies what-so-ever!

I bring the baby back to mom and show her the picture (which was good debating the situation the child was putting me into) and mom said, "It's horrible, I haven't seen work like this in a lot time, you call this photography!" I told her that if she wanted to order any of the horrible pictures I would be back in 20 minutes. So when I go back to complete the order she wanted to pay cash which I then told her that if she pays cash it has to be excate amount because this is a hospital and we don't have a register or an ATM in our room. She then got so upset and told me how horrible of a seller I am because I don't tell customers that if they pay cash it has to be excate amount till the last minute and since she's leaving in 20 minutes she doesn't have time to deal with it.

So she finally gets the excate amount and gives it to me and I go print off the pictures and bring them to mom to see. She hates the prints! She said "This looks as if it was printed off a computer printer!" obviously she wasn't too bright! It's not like I keep a spare Walgreen or 1 hour photo in my back pocket! By this time I'm very aggravated with this chick and I'm trying very hard to hold myself back from doing something incredibly stupid to her. I told her that I would refund her the money which I did, then told me that the service I provided was horrible and if the printer was better more people would buy the pictures and then she said "This is a great picture, if the printer wasn't so horrible I would order more!" what a bunch of B/S. I went and got her money put it in a folder and tossed the folder to her and mumbled on my way out..."Stupid broad."
