School and Such...

School has been rough on me the past 2 weeks. I know I can handle it though, God wouldn't give me anything I couldn't handle without Him. My lighting class is very interesting where we are using 2x3 Medium Format cameras (Hasselblad's) which are really sweet if you ask me! Then my color negatives class is a bit slow...The teacher, Russell is a great teacher, when he speaks he teaches the subject 3-4 different ways in the same night to make sure that everyone understands which is great if you don't get it the first time, but if you do, the class then becomes very boring! LOL.

I decided to do my pet photography for that class, so I'll be killing two birds with one stone. I can take the pet pictures for Phil and Sherrie and my homework all in one! I love to combine projects!!!

My next project that I NEED to get started on is building my portfolio for Savannah. They require a few portfolios so they can look it over and possible give out scholarships if the work is good enough. Professor Hans told me that he will work with me to help turn in a stunning portfolio. I'm glad that he is willing to help me and give me advice on this. He is very encouraging to all his students and always pushes them to strive for their very best and not settle for what they shoot the first time! The process of doing this is a major pain, but the end result is beautiful. I have pictures I never knew I could produce. I owe it all to him. Thanks!
